As we took a look at Ch. 10 today of Number the Stars I explained what my definition of bravery was. Simply put, it is putting your life on the line to help someone else.

DeleteNot always will somebody die but you put your life at risk, good defenition though.

DeleteAnnemarie's Mamma and Papa put her life at risk. Think of what the German soilier did to the Teacher's son in "The Hidden Child" He killed him insted of the Jews she was hidding!! What if the soliers killed Annemarie and Kristi insted of Ellen and her family!

DeleteBravery is when you risk your own life for others and or you get sacrificed for the death of others like Jesus sacrificed his life for our life and that means Jesus was brave. :)

I think bravery is when you but something valuable on the line like your own life to save another person. I don't exactly think that bravery is not being afraid because some people will be very very brave but they will still be scared. In other words, you will stand up and do what you have to do even if you are afraid.
